La Maison Rouge
La maison rouge, fondation Antoine de Galbert
Founded by collector Antoine de Galberg, and set in a former printworks, the Red House is an independently run space that alternates monographic shows of contemporary artists’ work with pieces from different private art collections.
The Maison Rouge (or Red House) encompasses over 21,500 square feet dedicated to temporary exhibitions. The architect, Jean-Yves Clement of Amplitude in Grenoble, was chosen to renovate the buildings and unify them into a coherent gallery experience, yet maintain a semblance of their industrial past.
Rose Bakery culture
The famous Rose Bakery which opened first in rue des Martyrs ( 75009) runs the retaurant inside the gallery.
